The Potter’s House International Ministries started in June of 1988 by our founders Bishop Vaughn and Lady Narlene McLaughlin. Our church was started out of a sincere desire to obey the voice of God, serve the city of Jacksonville and meet the needs of the total man. Now nearly thirty years later, because of that obedience what began as a gathering of just a few people has become a beacon of light on Jacksonville’s Westside; a place of economic empowerment for countless members of the community; a global transformation center and a church home to thousands.
At The Potter’s House, our vision is simple: We want to be a local church where: “Jesus is Lord, Love Abounds and Everyone is an Evangelist!” We want to be a place where you and your family can experience the love and grace of God and be transformed and empowered through a genuine encounter with Jesus Christ. Our desire is to not simply “have church” but to really “BE the church and manifest the Kingdom of God” by loving our neighbors, sharing the Gospel and serving our city. God has been very good to us and we invite you to join us as He continues to use us to impact Jacksonville and the world!
